While traveling to South Carolina for a friend’s winter wedding, my family and I decided to visit a National Park which, to be honest, we had never heard of at the time. Having grown up in Pennsylvania, Congaree offered fascinatingly unfamiliar woods which I’d love to explore with a kayak in the wet season.
