Cranberry Lake 50
Cranberry Lake, west of the Adirondacks High Peaks Wilderness, hosts a ton of opportunities for hiking, boating, and camping. The Cranberry Lake 50 trail allows hikers to circle the entire lake and take in a wide variety of Adirondack ecosystems. Between sliding through shoulder high grasses, gingerly balancing on rock solid beaver dams, and cruising through classic Adirondacks forests, the trail is a beautiful multi-day escape.
We lucked out with perfect weather, low trail traffic, and crisp, still nights full of loon calls and stargazing.
